July 12th, 2021 – A 27-year-old Kansas City man plead guilty May 25th to entering the Masjid An Noor Mosque and rubbing ham on the Quran in an act of hate was sentenced to a term of 90 days probation. He also posted caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad on the property and was brandishing a gun recklessly to people responding to his idiocy.
The judge imposed conditions other than avoiding a new arrest or holding a full-time employment; such as writing letters of apology to Islamic Society of Wichita and the victims of his crime. The incident had occurred on October 30th, 2020 which is recognized as mischief night which could have led to his motives behind the crime but this doesn’t justify his blatant hate and he should have been incarcerated for this. If we continue to let hate crime suspects just get a slap on the wrist, the crimes will continue to proliferate.
The alleged incident happened around 5:45pm when police received a call from a 53-year-old man stating what had occurred and that the suspect took off in his car from the scene. Police had later apprehended the lowlife at a residence southwest of Wichita in the town of Derby.
“Through the investigation, officers learned that the same male had previously posted concerning posters around the Islamic Society of Wichita located in the 6600 block of East 34th Street North. The incident was reported around the same time.”, Officer Charley Davidson stated to the media.

The same goes for suspects of animal cruelty, it is appalling how some states don’t even recognize it as a crime but a citation/fine. In the mid-West, these types of crimes are gaining traction due to events such as the death of George Floyd by Minneapolis officer Derek Chauvin and the death of Walter Wallace Jr. by Philadelphia police last year.
Hate has no place in any civilized society in the world and I will continue to help curb racism/bigotry by exposing these lowlives as much as I can.
Until legislation is done at the federal and state levels to curb the rise of hate in the United States, protests will continue until the people are held accountable for especially the politicians indifferent to this dark reality.

Thanks to our former U.S. President Donald Trump, he only fueled the hatred by not holding the racist responsible or condemning their actions which only emboldened the racists to continue the violence across the United States. Trump had only disavowed KKK leader David Duke only after a public outcry and scrutiny from the public.
Such good news has happened this year, such as the 22 1/2 year sentence handed down to former Minneapolis officer Derek Chauvin for the killing of George Floyd which happened on May 25th, 2020. We are beginning to slowly see a shift in the way racist acts are being done with by the public.

An example is when they arrested a New Jersey man for verbally attacking another man after a prompt response which led to protesters staking out his residence in Mount Laurel, New Jersey last week. Another good example is in Philadelphia, when a group of counterprotesters immediately put a damper on a march started by the hate group “Patriot Front”.
The video shows counterprotesters kicking and swinging at White supremacists telling them to go away and hurling objects at them on the evening of July 3rd, 2021. Thanks to social media, these racist acts are being stamped out before they can begin to permeate onto the streets. I am glad to be alive at this point in time to see changes happening at an astronomical level. Hopefully, by the end of my life, this will be a thing of the past in history books if I ever have children and/or grandchildren. I would love to hear them ask me, “What is racism?”.
